Prostatitis classified as inflammation or infection of the prostate. It can affect any men but more commonly affecting patients who are thirty years old or older. The symptoms can be acute or chronic. It is very much depending on how long you had the symptoms for.
The symptoms can be a mixture of generally feeling unwell with a temperature, pelvic pain, blood in the urine, blood in the ejaculate, pain with ejaculations or urinary symptoms such as difficulty passing urine.
