Peyronie's disease affects approximately 5% of men and presents with a curved reception with or without a penile lump and/or pain. The curvature progresses for approximately 6-18 months after which the acute phase is replaced by a stable phase which is usually characterised by resolution of pain if previously present and an absence of worsening erect penile curvature. Loss of penile length and “waisting” or thinning of the penis may also occur.
